Who is a participant?
- A participant is a person whose information is kept in the system database for future use.

Who sets up the participants?
- You as the account user are responsible for creating your own participants. In order to create a new participant, click on Participant Set-up/ Add New and then fill in the participant details. Press Submit.

What is a group?
- A group is a collection of participants with whom you would like to schedule a conference call. For example the group 'Marketing' may contain the names of people belonging to marketing department.

Who sets up the groups?
- You as the account user are responsible for creating your own groups. One participant may belong to multiple groups. In order to create a new group, click on Group set-up/ Add New. Enter a group name and then add members of the group by using Shift and CTRL keys to select from different participants. You will need a minimum of 2 participants to create a group. After making the selections press Submit.

How do I set up a conference?
- After setting up your participants and groups you can schedule a conference by clicking on 'conference set-up'. Enter the name of the group with which you want to have a conference call. Also enter the day, time, duration and whether the conference is one time or recurring. Please also enter the subject and message in their respective fields. After you press submit, your conference call will be scheduled provided ports are available in the system. If the scheduling is successful an email notification will be sent out to you and to all participants automatically.

What is 'meet-me' conferencing?
- Meet-me conferencing requires a moderator to schedule a conference call ahead of time. At the scheduled time, participants dial in, enter their assigned PIN numbers and then are able to join the conference. In this case the requested number of ports are reserved for the conference call so the availability is guaranteed.

What is 'reservation-less' conferencing?
- In case of reservation-less conferencing, the participants can dial-in at any time, enter their pre-assigned PIN number and then participate in the conference call as long as ports are available. As the ports are not reserved in this case, the call can be pre-empted at any time by a scheduled meet-me conference call. Please contact the system administrator to see if reservation less conferencing is available on your system.

How long of a conference call can I schedule?
- You can schedule up to 2.5 hour long conference call. The conference duration can be selected in 15-minute increments.

What are some of the in-conference controls available?

- Please see the list below:
  1. Press '0' to talk to a live operator
  2. Press '3' to Mute and to Un-mute
  3. Press '7' to lower the volume
  4. Press '8' to set the volume at default setting
  5. Press '9' to raise the volume
